Super Chinese World 3 is one of those weird little SNES RPGs that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame, because it’s got this goofy charm to it. You play as these kid heroes (I think?) running around a world that’s sort of Chinese-inspired but also just… vibing with early '90s JRPG energy. The sprites are tiny and cute, combat’s turn-based but quick, and there’s a surprising amount of dialogue for something so obscure.
No idea what the story’s about since my Japanese is terrible, but hey, menus are easy enough to fumble through. The music’s got that classic SNES synth sound, too—kinda bouncy, kinda nostalgic. If you’re into digging up forgotten RPGs, this one’s a fun oddity to poke at. Just don’t expect a deep lore dump.
