Super Buster Brothers is one of those weird little SNES gems that somehow sticks with you. You control these tiny knights who run around breaking blocks—sounds simple, but the physics are oddly satisfying. The blocks shatter in different ways depending on how you hit them, and sometimes you’ll knock out hidden power-ups or traps. First time I played, I just kept smashing everything to see what’d happen, and honestly? Still fun to do that now.
There’s a surprising amount of strategy too—some blocks crumble instantly, others take multiple hits, and if you’re not careful, you’ll drop right into an enemy’s path. The two-player mode is chaotic in the best way, especially when you start sabotaging each other’s platforms. It’s not the flashiest game on the SNES, but it’s got this weird charm that makes it hard to put down. Definitely a solid pick if you’re into quirky arcade-style action.
