Super Bombliss on SNES is basically Bomberman meets Tetris, and somehow it works way better than it should. You're dropping bombs to clear blocks instead of just blasting enemies, and the puzzle twist makes it way more brain-burny than regular Bomberman. At first I kept messing up by treating it like normal bomb placement, but once you get the rhythm of clearing layers, it clicks.
The multiplayer is chaotic in the best way—nothing like watching your friend's carefully planned bomb chain get ruined because you dropped one block in just the wrong spot. The music's got that classic SNES charm too, all bouncy and upbeat while you're desperately trying not to trap yourself. It's one of those games where "just one more round" turns into an hour without noticing.
If you like your retro games with a mix of strategy and last-second panic, this one's still a solid time.
