About Super Bombliss (japan)
Super Bombliss came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995, published by Toshiba EMI. It was a puzzle game from that era when developers were experimenting with new twists on established formulas, and this one stood out by blending the familiar block-dropping of Tetris with the explosive chaos of bombs.
You control the falling blocks, arranging them to complete horizontal lines. The main objective is to clear the screen and survive as long as possible. Its signature mechanics are the bombs, which appear as special blocks; when you complete a line containing a bomb, it detonates, destroying all blocks in its immediate vicinity. Another mode introduces a rising floor that creeps upward, forcing you to work faster under increasing pressure.
