Super Bomberman - Panic Bomber W is one of those weird little SNES puzzle spin-offs that somehow ended up being way more addictive than it had any right to be. It's basically Bomberman stripped down to pure head-to-head puzzle battles—no mazes, no power-ups, just dropping blocks and setting off chain reactions to bury your opponent.

The first few rounds feel simple, almost too basic, but then you start seeing the patterns—how to set up big combos, when to hold back, when to go all-in. The AI gets brutal fast, especially in the later stages. I remember getting wrecked by some of the boss characters until I figured out their rhythms.

It's got that classic Bomberman charm though, with all the little character sprites trash-talking each other between rounds. If you're into competitive puzzle games, this one's a hidden gem. Just don't blame me when you lose track of time trying to beat your high score.
