Rise Of The Robots (japan) (beta) Game

Man, Rise of the Robots was supposed to be this huge deal back in the day—SNES, Genesis, even CD-ROM versions. They promised these crazy AI opponents that’d learn your moves and adapt mid-fight. Spoiler: they didn’t. At all.
You play as this clunky cyborg named ECO35-2 (real creative), punching and kicking through waves of equally stiff robots. The animations look cool for the time, but good luck pulling off combos without feeling like you’re wrestling with the controls. And that "learning AI"? More like "stands there awkwardly until you whiff an attack."
Still, there’s something weirdly charming about it—maybe the over-the-top synth soundtrack or the fact that it’s so bad it loops back to being fun with friends. Just don’t expect the revolution they advertised.
