Putty Moon (japan) Game

Putty Moon is one of those weird, charming SNES games that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame, because it’s a total hidden gem. You play as this stretchy, bouncy blob (think a less angry version of Kirby) hopping between planets, absorbing enemies to copy their abilities. The physics are janky in the best way—your putty guy flops around like a drunk slinky, but once you get the hang of it, bouncing off walls and squishing through tight spaces feels oddly satisfying.
The levels are bright and colorful, with this surreal '90s anime vibe. One minute you’re in a candy-colored jungle, the next you’re dodging giant floating eyeballs in space. The music’s got that classic SNES synth charm too—catchy but just slightly offbeat, like the whole game. It’s short, maybe a little too easy if you’re used to brutal platformers, but there’s something about the sheer weirdness that sticks with you. Definitely worth a play if you’re into forgotten retro oddities.
