Pop'n TwinBee is one of those SNES shooters that just feels good to play—bright colors, cheery music, and those little bell power-ups you gotta shoot mid-air to upgrade your ship. It’s the first TwinBee game on the SNES, and they didn’t hold back—everything’s smoother, punchier, and way more vibrant than the older arcade versions.

You start off with this dinky little ship, but after a few minutes of snagging bells (some turn your shots into lasers, others give you options), you’re basically a floating death machine. The levels throw these cute-but-deadly enemies at you, and the bosses? Big, screen-filling, and satisfying to dismantle. Also, the two-player co-op is chaotic in the best way—just try not to steal each other’s power-ups.

If you’ve played the Game Boy version, this one’s like that but with way more going on—better visuals, more elaborate stages, and that classic SNES "weight" to the controls. It’s a shame it never made it to the US, but hey, imports exist for a reason.
