Pokemon Ultra Violet Game

Pokémon Ultra Violet is one of those classic GBA ROM hacks that actually makes FireRed feel fresh again. You start in Pallet Town like usual, but pretty quickly you realize this isn't just a reskin—there are Gen 1-3 Pokémon mixed in from the beginning, some new areas to explore, and weirdly enough, you can actually catch all 386 without trading. First time I played, I nearly missed the extra starter choice (Bulbasaur, Squirtle, or... Eevee?).
The difficulty's bumped up just enough to keep you on your toes, but not so much that it feels unfair. And that soundtrack? Still hits the nostalgia perfectly while sneaking in some new tracks. If you've burned through FireRed too many times but still want that classic Pokémon feel, this one's worth a download.
