Pokemon Moemon (emerald) Game

Pokémon Moemon (Emerald) is a wild twist on the classic GBA game—imagine Pokémon, but if every creature was redesigned as a cute anime-style character. At first, I thought it was just a visual mod, but it actually changes some mechanics too, like adjusted stats and movesets. The sprites are surprisingly well-done, though some of them might make you do a double-take (looking at you, Machop).
You still start in Littleroot Town, pick your starter (Torchic’s my go-to), and battle your way through Hoenn, but everything just feels... different. Gym leaders hit harder, and some Pokémon you’d normally ignore suddenly become weirdly viable. It’s a fresh way to replay Emerald if you’ve memorized the original.
Fair warning: the aesthetic isn’t for everyone, but if you don’t mind your Pikachu looking like it stepped out of a slice-of-life anime, it’s a fun romp. Just don’t expect to take it too seriously.
