Play Pokemon Elements Online

I picked up Pokemon Elements on the Game Boy Advance back when it first released. It was one of those many Pokemon titles that came out for the system, though I don't recall the specific developer offhand. It fit right in with the era, a solid cartridge to pop into the purple handheld.

You control a young trainer starting their journey. Your main goal is to travel the region, capture Pokemon, and defeat the eight gym leaders to challenge the Elite Four. The core loop involves exploring routes and caves screen by screen, engaging in turn based battles to weaken wild Pokemon before throwing a Pokeball. You also manage your team's elemental types, carefully switching between water, fire, and grass to gain an advantage in fights. The pacing is steady, and some of the later gym leaders present a real challenge if your team isn't well balanced. It feels like a familiar and comfortable return to the basics of being a Pokemon trainer.
