Pokemon Crono (beta 2) Game

Pokémon Crono is one of those fan-made GBA hacks that actually feels polished—like someone took FireRed and gave it a weird, time-travel twist. You start in this glitched-out version of Pallet Town where things keep flickering between past and future, and your first rival battle has this eerie distorted music that immediately sets the tone. The beta’s still rough around the edges (obviously), but the new sprite work for the "ancient" and "future" Pokémon variants is surprisingly clean.
Weirdly, the time-shift mechanic isn’t just cosmetic—some routes have alternate layouts depending on which era you’re in, and I got stuck for way too long trying to find a path that only existed in the past version. Also, whoever decided to give Pikachu a caveman-style club in one timeline deserves a raise. The game’s got that janky-but-charming vibe where you can tell the creator was having fun with it.
