Pokemon Crono Game

Pokémon Crono is one of those fan-made GBA hacks that actually feels polished—like it could've been an official release back in the day. You start off in a familiar-but-new region with a fresh set of starters (no more just picking between fire, water, or grass). The sprites are crisp, and the battles have this nice little speed boost so you're not stuck watching animations forever.
What got me hooked early was the mix of Pokémon from different gens, plus some custom ones that don’t feel out of place. The story’s nothing groundbreaking, but it’s got enough twists to keep you from just mashing A through dialogue. And yeah, it’s still a GBA game at heart—expect random encounters and old-school grinding, but with just enough QoL tweaks to make it bearable.
If you’ve burned through the official games and want something with that classic vibe but new surprises, this one’s solid.
