Peace Keepers on SNES is one of those beat 'em ups that flew under the radar but actually has some cool stuff going on. It's the third in the Rushing Beat series (though you wouldn't know it from the US releases—they renamed everything). You pick from six fighters, each with their own style, and plow through waves of goons with punches, jumps, and a surprisingly useful taunt mechanic.
What I like is how the branching paths work—you make choices that change which bosses you fight and even lead to different endings. The versus mode's a blast too, especially if you've got three friends around (four-player chaos, anyone?). The super moves feel satisfying once you get the timing down—taunt first, then unleash hell.
It's not as polished as some of the big-name brawlers, but there's a scrappy charm to it. The sprite work holds up, and some of the enemy designs are just weird enough to stick with you. Definitely one for fans of the genre who want something slightly off the beaten path.
