Man, NBA Jam on SNES is pure chaos in the best way possible. You pick two players—I always went with Stockton and Malone, no shame—and then it’s just non-stop turbo-boosted dunks, elbows to the face, and the announcer screaming "BOOMSHAKALAKA" every five seconds. The physics are ridiculous (in a good way), like watching someone defy gravity for a full three seconds before slamming the ball so hard the backboard explodes.
It’s not even close to real basketball, but that’s the point. You’ll miss half your shots because the rim’s on fire, or some 7-foot center will teleport across the court to block you. And if you get hot? The ball literally lights up like a meteor. Still holds up if you’re into that old-school, no-rules arcade vibe. Just don’t expect a sim—this is basketball turned up to 11.
