Miracle Girls is one of those weird, charming SNES platformers that never made it outside Japan—thankfully, someone translated it. You play as twin sisters who fight enemies by throwing... candy. Yeah, it's as ridiculous as it sounds, but somehow it works. The sprites are bright and cartoony, straight out of the manga, and the levels have this bouncy, almost dreamlike vibe.
At first, I thought the candy gimmick would get old fast, but the different types actually change how you approach enemies—some explode, some bounce, some even home in. The controls take a second to get used to (why does jumping feel so floaty?), but once it clicks, it's oddly satisfying to pelt monsters with sweets. Definitely one of the quirkier hidden gems on the SNES.
