Mega Man 6 is that classic NES action where you jump, shoot, and steal robot powers—just like the old days. You start by picking which of the eight Robot Masters to tackle first (I always go for Plant Man’s stage because the music slaps), then blast through side-scrolling levels full of disappearing blocks, spikes, and those little guys who pop out of the ground when you least expect it.
The gimmick this time? Rush adapters that let Mega Man do a power slide or hover jump—kinda weird at first, but you’ll need them to dodge some brutal boss patterns. And yeah, the controls are tight, but good luck beating Flame Man without memorizing his attack tells.
If you’ve played other Mega Man games, this one’s got the same tough-but-fair vibe, just with brighter colors and a few new tricks. It’s not the hardest in the series, but that final Wily stage will still make you sweat.
