Maze Hunter 3-d Game

Maze Hunter 3-D on the Sega Master System is one of those weird, janky early 3D maze games that somehow gets under your skin. The graphics are blocky as hell—like, "walking through a spreadsheet" blocky—but there's something oddly satisfying about navigating these wireframe labyrinths while dodging floating eyeball enemies.
At first, it feels clunky (because it is), but after a few runs, you start picking up the rhythm. The mazes get twistier, the enemies sneakier, and before long you're leaning into turns like you're actually in there. Pro tip: memorize the map symbols early—those little arrows and shapes are the only way you'll know where the heck you're going.
It's not pretty by modern standards, but if you dig retro games with that particular "what even IS this?" charm, it's a trip worth taking. Just don't blame me when you start seeing grid lines in your sleep.
