Mario & Yoshi came out for the Game Boy in 1991, developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. It was one of many puzzle games on the system, a time when portable gaming was simple and direct. You control Mario at the bottom of the screen, catching eggs that Yoshi drops from above. The main goal is to complete each puzzle screen by clearing all the enemies.
