Looney Tunes B-Ball came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed by Sunsoft. It was part of that wave of licensed games on the SNES, a time when you'd see familiar cartoon characters in just about any genre. This one took the Looney Tunes crew and put them on the basketball court.

You pick a character like Bugs Bunny or Daffy Duck and play two-on-two basketball across different themed courts. The main goal is to outscore the other team before the timer runs out. The game has a few key mechanics that set it apart. Each character has a special power-up shot that fills a meter as you play; when it's full, you can launch an almost unblockable shot that often involves a silly animation, like Taz spinning into a tornado for a dunk. You can also pick up items that appear on the court, such as anvils or rockets, to temporarily stun your opponents or steal the ball. The pacing is fast and a bit chaotic, with the computer opponents putting up a decent challenge. It feels like a messy, cartoonish playground version of basketball.
