Lego Drome Racers on the GBA is one of those weird little racing games that somehow works better than it should. You're basically building these blocky Lego cars and then throwing them into chaotic races where half the fun comes from watching your custom ride fall apart after a bad crash.
The handling's a bit slippery at first—took me a few races to stop slamming into walls—but once you get the hang of drifting around corners, it clicks. The track designs are surprisingly creative too, with jumps, shortcuts, and hazards that actually make you think about how you built your car. Heavy chassis plow through obstacles, but good luck making tight turns.
It's not the deepest racer out there, but there's something satisfying about crossing the finish line with half your car missing. Lego Drome Racers holds up better than most licensed GBA games from that era.
