About Lego Drome Racers (u)(evasion)
Lego Drome Racers came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, a time when portable racing games were really finding their footing. It was published by THQ, and it fit right in with other Lego titles that turned building blocks into full blown adventures. You weren't just playing with plastic bricks; you were racing them.
You control a Lego minifigure in a small, customizable car, competing in races across different circuits. The main goal is to win championships, which unlocks new parts and vehicles. A couple of its key mechanics are the weapon pickups scattered on the track, like missiles and oil slicks, and the ability to build your own racer from a selection of chassis, engines, and tires.
