Jerry Boy is one of those weird, charming SNES platformers that feels like it got lost in time. You play as this little blue blob guy who can stretch and bounce around—kinda like if Kirby and a slime had a baby. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you figure out how to slingshot yourself off walls, it clicks.
The levels are packed with these little secrets and oddball enemies (there’s one that looks like a walking pickle, no joke). Some of the jumps are brutal, especially when you’re trying to land on tiny platforms while stretched out. And the music? Pure early ‘90s synth cheese—in the best way.
It’s not as polished as Mario or Donkey Kong, but there’s something weirdly addictive about it. If you dig obscure retro stuff, this one’s worth a look.
