Remember Frogger dodging cars in the arcade? This GBA sequel takes that same little frog and throws him into Indiana Jones-style ruins—except instead of trucks, you're avoiding rolling boulders and spike traps. The first level tricks you into thinking it's just cute jungle hopping, then suddenly you're timing jumps over collapsing bridges while some tribal drum music kicks in.
What surprised me was how much puzzle stuff they crammed in. You'll be flipping switches to redirect waterfalls (frogs love those, right?), pushing blocks to make platforms, even doing this weird mini-game where you match lily pad patterns. The controls feel a bit stiff when you need pixel-perfect jumps, but after a few deaths you get the rhythm.
Honestly, the temple aesthetic works way better than it should—who knew Frogger belonged in ancient ruins instead of highways? Just watch out for those poison dart frogs in level 3; took me forever to figure out their attack pattern.
