Dead Angle Game

Dead Angle on the Sega Master System is one of those old-school shooters that feels way ahead of its time. You play as this trenchcoat-wearing detective who moves in short bursts—ducking behind crates, popping out just long enough to take a shot before scrambling for cover again. The controls are simple (just aim and fire), but the timing is everything. Miss your window, and suddenly you’re staring at a "Game Over" screen.
The pixel art holds up surprisingly well—dark alleys, neon signs flickering in the background, enemies lunging at you from doorways. The first few levels trick you into thinking it’s easy, then the difficulty spikes hard. By stage three, you’re sweating over every corner. It’s got that arcade vibe where you’ll replay the same section five times, swearing you’ll get it next try.
If you dig tense, methodical shooters with a retro aesthetic, this one’s a blast. Just don’t expect to beat it in one sitting.
