Cyborg Hunter Game

Cyborg Hunter on the Sega Master System is one of those weird, janky-but-charming action games from the late '80s where you play as some dude in a jumpsuit blasting rogue robots. The controls take a minute to get used to—your guy moves like he's on ice skates—but once you adjust, there's something oddly satisfying about the way you ricochet around these blocky neon levels.
You start with this dinky little gun that barely scratches the enemies, but after a few power-ups, you're tearing through cyborgs with spread shots and weird bouncing projectiles. The bosses are absolute units—huge, clanking machines that fill half the screen—and figuring out their patterns feels like solving a puzzle while someone's throwing wrenches at you.
It's got that classic "Nintendo hard" vibe where you'll die a lot, but the short levels make retries less painful. Just don't expect deep lore—the story is basically "robots bad, shoot them." Still, there's a weird, low-budget charm to the whole thing that makes it stick in your head.
