Chouon Senshi Borgman (japan) Game

Chouon Senshi Borgman is one of those weird, late-era Sega Master System games that feels like it was designed after someone watched too much Power Rangers and chugged a six-pack of energy drinks. You play as this cyborg dude who runs around blasting enemies with sound waves—yeah, sound waves, because why use bullets when you can just scream at robots until they explode?
The first level throws you right into it: neon cityscapes, weird floating platforms, and enemies that look like rejected Transformers knockoffs. The controls are stiff in that classic 8-bit way, but once you get the timing down for the charge shot, you start feeling like a total badass. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—this is the kind of game where you’ll die a lot before figuring out the enemy patterns.
It’s got that unmistakable Japanese arcade vibe, complete with a soundtrack that sounds like someone mashed a synth with a metal trash can. If you’re into obscure retro action games with a side of ridiculousness, Borgman’s worth a look. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on the third boss for an hour.
