Captain Commando on SNES is classic Capcom chaos—four weirdos beating up neon thugs in a cyberpunk city. You pick between the captain himself (who fights with a baby strapped to his back, because why not), a mummy, a ninja, or some guy in a mech suit. The first level throws you right into it: smashing through goons, dodging weird sci-fi weapons, and figuring out which character’s moves feel best. The mummy’s stretchy arms grew on me after a few tries.
It’s got that satisfying Capcom punchiness where every hit lands with a crunchy sound effect, and the enemies get progressively more ridiculous (wait till you see the jetpack guys). Not the deepest brawler, but perfect for when you just want to wreck stuff with a friend. The baby does absolutely nothing, by the way—just vibes.
