About Battletoads & Double Dragon - The Ultimate Team (europe)
Battletoads & Double Dragon: The Ultimate Team came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, developed by Rare. It was a time when crossovers were a special event, and this one brought two popular brawler franchises together on a single cartridge.
You control one of the Battletoads or Double Dragon brothers, fighting through levels to stop the Dark Queen. You move screen by screen, clearing out all the enemies before you can proceed. Your character uses a mix of standard punches and kicks alongside exaggerated, cartoonish special moves; the Battletoads, for instance, can morph their limbs into giant fists or feet for powerful attacks. The game is known for its brisk pacing and considerable difficulty, demanding quick reflexes to handle the relentless enemy waves. It feels like a solid, chaotic brawl from start to finish.
