Okay, so imagine this: Battletoads and Double Dragon somehow ended up in the same arcade brawler, and it's as ridiculous (and fun) as it sounds. You pick from either the Toads or the Lee brothers, then punch, kick, and occasionally turn into a wrecking ball (seriously, the Toads' morphing moves are wild) through waves of enemies.
The first level throws you right into it—some grunts, a few weapons to grab, and that classic SNES combo of chunky sprites and satisfying hits. The Double Dragon guys feel a bit smoother, but the Toads have those over-the-top animations that make you laugh mid-combo. Just watch out for the cheap hits—this one doesn’t pull punches.
It’s got that old-school co-op chaos too, so grab a friend if you can. The soundtrack’s exactly what you’d hope for: crunchy synth beats that fit the mayhem. Not the deepest brawler out there, but it’s a solid mash-up with enough personality to keep you going.
