Okay, so Ballz 3D on SNES is basically Breakout, but with a weird little twist—the bricks are these chunky 3D cubes that kinda pop out at you. It’s still the same paddle-and-ball thing, but the depth makes it trickier than you’d think. Miss the angle, and suddenly your ball’s ricocheting into oblivion.
The graphics are pure early '90s—bright colors, blocky shapes, that sort of thing. Not exactly cutting-edge even back then, but it’s got charm. First few levels ease you in, then suddenly you’re dealing with weird brick formations that feel like they’re taunting you. And yeah, the physics are… questionable. Sometimes the ball just does what it wants.
Honestly, it’s one of those games you pick up for five minutes and end up playing way longer than intended. Not a masterpiece, but weirdly satisfying when you finally clear a tough stage. If you’ve got nostalgia for janky SNES oddballs, this’ll hit the spot.
