About Astro Boy - Omega Factor (e)(endless Piracy)
Astro Boy: Omega Factor came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, developed by Treasure and published by Sega. It arrived at a time when the handheld was full of inventive action games, and this one fit right in with its sharp visuals and fast pace.
You control Astro Boy, flying and punching through side-scrolling stages. Your main goal is to uncover a conspiracy, which involves traveling between different worlds and interacting with characters from Osamu Tezuka's other stories. Key mechanics include a close-range punch combo and a long-range laser; you also collect Omega Factor upgrades to permanently increase your health and attack power. The game moves quickly, with some tough boss fights that require learning patterns. It feels responsive and energetic, making each successful dodge and counterattack satisfying.
