Man, Yoshi's Ultimate Island on SNES is pure nostalgia fuel. You start off with that classic flutter jump—you know, where Yoshi does that weird mid-air hover—and suddenly you're tossing eggs at Shy Guys like it's 1995 again. The levels are packed with little secrets, like hidden clouds you can only reach by timing your jumps just right, or those annoying Piranha Plants that pop up when you least expect them.
What I love is how the game doesn’t hold your hand. You’ll be halfway through a level, realize you missed a bunch of fruit, and backtrack just to hear that satisfying *ding* when you finally get them all. And the music? Still catchy as hell. It’s one of those games where you’ll catch yourself humming the tunes hours later.
If you grew up with platformers, this one’s a no-brainer. Just don’t blame me when you spend way too long trying to 100% Flower Garden.
