Man, Super Street Fighter II on SNES still hits different. You boot it up, and boom—that classic Capcom intro music kicks in, and suddenly you're 10 years old again, mashing buttons in an arcade. The roster's stacked with legends: Ryu's fireballs feel just right, Chun-Li's lightning legs are stupidly satisfying, and Guile's still the king of turtling behind that flash kick.
First match in, you'll realize the controls are tighter than you remember. Pulling off a dragon punch isn't *hard*, but good luck landing it consistently against the CPU on higher difficulties. And don't even get me started on Vega's claw—somehow, the AI makes that guy feel even more cheap than he did in the arcade.
It's got that perfect mix of nostalgia and "oh crap, I actually have to learn this." You'll lose a few rounds, laugh at the hilariously bad Engrish victory quotes, then immediately hit rematch. Still one of the best ways to kill an afternoon with a friend on couch co-op.
