Super Mario Sunshine 64 game

Super Mario Sunshine 64 is this weird little Flash gem that somehow nails the Sunshine vibe while looking like it was scribbled on a napkin—in a good way. You’ve got the same water jetpack action, but everything’s blocky and pixelated, like someone remade the game in a fever dream. The first few seconds chug a bit (classic Flash), but then it smooths out as you’re bouncing between paintings to pick levels.

Controls are simple: arrows to move, space to blast water, down to enter doors. The castle hub’s a mess of floating platforms and doors that don’t quite match the levels behind them, which just adds to the charm. One minute you’re spraying water at goombas, the next you’re ricocheting off walls like a pinball. It’s janky, joyful, and feels like stumbling on a secret ROM hack from 2004.

Home key dumps you back to the title screen when you inevitably get stuck on some geometry. Which you will. And you’ll laugh about it.
