Super Mario Extreme Adventure 3 is one of those weirdly fun Flash mashups where you get Mario-style platforming but with random classic game characters thrown in—think Sonic hopping around next to Pac-Man ghosts. You’ve got 10 lives to work with, which sounds generous until you hit that one level where everything’s just slightly too far apart for a comfortable jump.

Controls are simple: arrows to move, space to shoot (because apparently everyone gets a gun now?). The physics feel a little floaty at first, but you get used to it after a few awkward falls into pits. Some of the character swaps actually change how you play—like, good luck timing jumps with the heavier ones.

It’s janky in that classic Flash game way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about beating a level with, say, a Tetris block as your hero.
