Man, Street Fighter 2 on SNES was the fighting game that defined my childhood. The moment you boot it up, that iconic "Round 1... Fight!" voice hits you with nostalgia. Chun-Li's lightning legs, Ryu's fireballs, Zangief's ridiculous spinning pile driver—every character just feels different, and you'll probably spend your first few matches button-mashing before figuring out how to actually pull off a dragon punch.
The SNES version isn't arcade-perfect, but it's crazy how well they crammed this onto a cartridge. The colors pop, the music slaps (Guile's theme goes unreasonably hard), and even the little details—like how Dhalsim stretches halfway across the screen or Blanka's wild electricity—still hold up. Just don't pick E. Honda against your friends unless you want them to hate you.
It's one of those games where losing feels like your fault, not the game's, which is why you keep jumping back in for "one more match."
