Street Fighter 2 Not Settled Game

Man, Street Fighter 2 Not Settled on the Genesis hits different. The second you boot it up, that chunky pixel art and the thunk of the character select screen just teleports you straight back to arcade cabinets and sticky floors. I always end up picking Ryu first—his fireball feels like home—but then I remember how satisfying it is to land Zangief’s spinning piledriver and immediately regret my life choices.
The AI doesn’t mess around either. That first fight against Ken? He’ll shoryuken you into next week if you’re not careful. And don’t even get me started on trying to time Guile’s flash kick without a proper arcade stick. The controls are tight, though—once you stop button-mashing like a maniac and actually learn the moves, it clicks. Still can’t beat Bison without cheating, though.
It’s got that perfect mix of nostalgia and “oh crap, I forgot how hard this was.” If you’ve got a Genesis collecting dust, this is the cart to blow on.
