Man, Street Fighter 2 Next Generation on SNES takes me back. It's basically a beefed-up version of the classic, with all the original fighters plus a few extra faces—some of them feel a little unbalanced, but hey, that’s part of the fun. Chun-Li’s lightning legs still wreck shop, and Ryu’s fireball game is as solid as ever.
First thing you’ll notice? The colors pop way more than the vanilla SF2. The sprites are cleaner, and the backgrounds have this weirdly smooth look—almost like someone cranked up the contrast. The controls are tight, though, and pulling off a dragon punch feels just as satisfying as it did in the arcade.
If you’re into SNES fighters, this one’s a solid pick—just don’t expect it to replace Turbo or Super. It’s got its own weird charm.
