Pac-Mania on NES is one of those weird, late-80s twists on a classic—like if Pac-Man suddenly discovered caffeine. Instead of the usual flat maze, you're running around in this weird pseudo-3D perspective where ghosts can actually jump over walls (rude, right?). The music's got that classic chiptune energy, and the levels get seriously chaotic once those ghost gangs start coordinating.

First time I played, I kept slamming into ghosts because I forgot they could hop barriers now. Took me a few tries to realize you can jump too—game changer. The "Unlimited" version means no pesky continues, so you can brute-force your way through the later stages if you're stubborn enough. Still weirdly satisfying to hear that old chomp sound when you grab a power pellet.

Definitely not the Pac-Man your grandparents remember, but that's what makes it fun.
