About Contra ? Hard Corps (hit Points Restoration)
Contra: Hard Corps came out for the Sega Genesis in 1994, developed and published by Konami. It arrived during a time when the 16-bit consoles were pushing the limits of what side-scrolling action games could do, and this one was part of that competitive space.
You control one of four cyborg soldiers, each with a unique default weapon, running and gunning through urban and industrial zones overrun by a rogue military force. Your main goal is straightforward: blast through each stage, defeat the bosses, and stop the renegade colonel. The game gives you a choice of weapons before you even start, and you can pick up new guns from fallen enemies, which adds a layer of strategy. It is notoriously difficult, with enemy fire coming from all directions and demanding quick reflexes. Navigating the chaos of bullets and explosions makes for an intense, fast-paced experience from start to finish.
