About Top Gear Rally (e)(surplus)
Top Gear Rally arrived on the Game Boy Advance in 2003, published by Kemco. It was part of that wave of early GBA titles trying to bring a console racing feel to a handheld. The hardware had its limits, but developers were pushing to get 3D-style games running on it.
You control a rally car across a variety of international tracks, from snowy passes to dusty desert routes. The main objective is to win championships by placing first across a series of races. Signature mechanics include collecting power-ups scattered on the track for temporary boosts and managing a limited nitro gauge for strategic bursts of speed.
