Top Gear Gt Championship (u)(independent) Game

Top Gear GT Championship is one of those GBA racers that feels surprisingly solid for a handheld game. You’ve got a mix of licensed cars (think Civics, Skylines, and even a Viper) and some fictional ones, all with that slightly blocky but charming GBA aesthetic. The handling’s arcade-y—not too twitchy, not too floaty—and the tracks have just enough turns to keep you on your toes without feeling unfair.
First race in, you’re thrown into a quick championship with a starter car that handles like it’s on budget tires. Upgrades come fast though, and by the second cup, you’re already weighing whether to dump credits into engine mods or save for a better ride. The AI isn’t pushover either—they’ll nudge you into walls if you’re not careful.
It’s no Gran Turismo, but for a portable racer, it nails that “just one more race” vibe. The soundtrack’s got some decent bass-heavy beats too, which is rare for a GBA cart.
