Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 on Game Boy is basically a follow-up to Fall of the Foot Clan, but with a little more polish. You’re still punching through waves of Foot Soldiers and dodging projectiles, but the controls feel a bit tighter this time around. I remember swapping between turtles mid-level when one got low on health—Leo’s reach with his sword saved me more than once.
It’s not a huge leap from the first game, but if you liked that one, this is more of the same with a few extra boss fights and slightly better sprite work. The music’s still that classic TMNT chiptune stuff, too. Definitely a solid pick if you’re into short, arcade-y beat ‘em ups.
