Super Bomberman 2 is one of those SNES games that still holds up—especially if you’ve got friends around. You drop bombs, blow up walls, and try not to get cornered by your own explosions (which happens more than you’d think). The controls are simple—just run and plant bombs—but the chaos gets real when four players are scrambling for power-ups like the remote detonator or the sneaky kick ability.

Single-player’s fun too, with these weird little boss fights where you’re dodging giant bouncing balls or whatever. The music’s got that classic SNES energy, all bouncy and frantic. Honestly, half the fun is watching someone accidentally trap themselves with their own bomb while you laugh at their misfortune.

If you’ve got a group and a way to play it, this is still one of the best party games from the 16-bit era.
