About Super Bomberman 2 (europe)
Super Bomberman 2 came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Hudson Soft. It was part of a solid series of five Bomberman titles on the system, and it arrived right when local multiplayer was becoming a big part of the console experience.
You control Bomberman, moving him screen by screen through maze-like levels. Your main goal is to clear each stage of enemies by placing bombs to destroy soft blocks and defeat foes. Key mechanics include collecting power-ups hidden in broken blocks to increase your bomb blast length and the number of bombs you can place at once. The game also features the classic Battle Mode, where up to four players can compete on small, single-screen arenas. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty can spike when the screen gets crowded with enemies and your own explosions.
