Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper on the GBA is basically the portable version of Alpha 3, but with a few extra surprises. It’s wild how much they crammed into this tiny cartridge—you’ve got all the classic characters, plus some new ones like Eagle and Maki. The controls feel surprisingly decent for a handheld, though pulling off supers can be a little stiff compared to the arcade version.

What’s cool is the "Upper" part—it adds the World Tour mode from the Dreamcast version, so you can level up your fighter with stat boosts and weird abilities. I spent way too much time grinding my Ryu to max power just to wreck the CPU. The sprite work still holds up, too—those Chun-Li animations are crisp even on the small screen.

If you’re into retro fighters, this is one of the better GBA ports out there. Just don’t expect arcade-perfect inputs.
