If you've ever wanted to feel like a cybernetic badass with a sword, Megaman Zero on the GBA is your game. You play as Zero—yeah, that Zero—dashing through tight corridors, slicing robots in half with your Z-Saber, and occasionally getting wrecked by bosses until you memorize their patterns. The controls are snappy, the pixel art is gorgeous, and the difficulty? Let's just say you'll be retrying some sections more than you'd like.

What I love is how it doesn’t hold your hand. No health upgrades lying around? Tough luck—get good at dodging. The levels are short but brutal, and the soundtrack slaps hard with that classic Megaman energy. It’s not just nostalgia bait, either; the combat has weight to it, and landing a perfect charged slash feels stupidly satisfying.

Fair warning: If you’re new to the series, expect to die. A lot. But when you finally clear that one obnoxious stage, it’s worth the pain.
