Man, Mega Man Battle Network 2 still holds up. You start off as Lan, just a kid with a NetNavi (basically a digital buddy named MegaMan.EXE), and suddenly you're diving into this neon-lit internet world full of viruses and shady organizations. The combat’s wild—it’s like a mix of real-time action and deckbuilding, where you’re slapping down chips mid-battle to blast enemies with swords, cannons, or even stealing their health.

At first, I had no idea which chips to use—some combos feel random until you realize how stupidly powerful certain setups are. And the story? Way deeper than I expected for a GBA game. One minute you’re dealing with school drama, the next you’re uncovering some corporate conspiracy. The pixel art’s gorgeous too, especially when you’re warping through those glitchy network zones.

If you’ve ever wanted a weird, tactical take on Mega Man with a killer soundtrack, this is the one. Just don’t blame me when you lose an hour tweaking your folder instead of actually progressing.
