Mega-Lo-Mania is one of those old-school god games where you guide a civilization from sticks and stones to futuristic warfare—if you can survive that long. You start with a tiny island, a handful of followers, and the desperate need to research better weapons before your rivals wipe you off the map. The tech tree is surprisingly deep for a Genesis game, and figuring out whether to rush spearmen or save up for gunpowder feels like a real gamble.
What I love is how chaotic it gets—you’ll be micromanaging farms one second, then scrambling to defend against an invasion the next. The AI doesn’t mess around, either. Forget peaceful sims; this is more like a prehistoric RTS where every decision matters. Just don’t expect modern controls—it’s got that classic ’90s clunkiness, but once it clicks, it’s weirdly addictive.
