Mario No Super Picross Game

Mario no Super Picross is one of those SNES gems that flew under the radar—probably because it never left Japan back in the day. It’s basically Picross (you know, those grid-based logic puzzles) but with a Mario skin slapped on it. The first few puzzles ease you in, showing you how to mark squares based on number clues, but don’t get too comfy—later levels get seriously devious.
What I love is how it slowly messes with your head. You’ll start a puzzle thinking it’s simple, then suddenly realize you’ve been staring at the same row for five minutes. And when you finally crack it, the game rewards you with a little pixel-art surprise—usually something goofy like a mushroom or a Koopa Troopa. The music’s oddly chill for a puzzle game, too, which helps when you’re stuck on some brutal 15x15 grid.
It’s not for everyone—if you hate staring at numbers and grids, steer clear. But if you like brain teasers with a retro Nintendo twist, this one’s a solid time sink.
