Hero Football Stars is one of those weirdly fun mashups where you get to play football with Nickelodeon characters—think SpongeBob stiff-arming someone or Danny Phantom breaking tackles. At first, I wasn’t sure if the cartoon physics would work, but somehow it just does.

You can start with the Trials if you want to get the hang of it (the AI opponents aren’t too brutal there), or jump straight into the Championship if you’re feeling bold. Either way, dodging obstacles and defenders feels chaotic in the best way—like, yeah, you can juke that giant rolling boulder, but good luck not laughing when Patrick Star faceplants trying to stop you.

It’s simple, fast, and honestly kind of ridiculous in the best way possible. Just don’t blame me when you lose track of time trying to beat your own high score.
